Gourmet Gorillas provided a BBQ on Saturday 12th March at Great Witley Village Hall in Worcestershire.
The event was for a christening. It was gloriously sunny and it was a pleasure to cater for such appreciative guests.
The selection was chicken tikka, lamb kofta, cheeseburgers and hot dogs together with a vegetarian choice of vegetable burgers and sausages with vegetable halloumi. We toast the halloumi first and then add it to courgettes, peppers, red onions and aubergine.
The Gorillas were cooking and serving under gazebos and all of the guests were eating in the village hall. Who knows what the weather will be like in March? Accordingly all eventualities were covered! As it turned out, the weather was really, very kind, the kids were all playing outside, but soon appeared at the serving tables, ready for action!
The meat used is all locally sourced and is of the best quality. It really does make a difference when barbecuing. You simply have to start with the very best produce. We had a lot of comments saying “it was the best BBQ food we have ever had”. It was music to a Gorilla ear.
