BOOKING CONFIRMATION

All bookings are provisional until the receipt of your deposit and completion of our booking form

In the event of cancellation from the buyer Deposits are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled by the buyer within 20 days of the event, no monies paid will be refunded. If the buyer cancels the event 20+ days before the event, then 50% of any additional monies paid over the deposit will be refunded.

Cleared funds for the outstanding balance will be due 14 days prior to the event. Gourmet Gorillas has the right to cancel the booking if the amount is not paid in full prior to the date, if payment is not received the deposit is non refundable.

Final event numbers and other specific details will need to be completely confirmed a minimum of 20 days prior to the event. This will include guest numbers, serving time, venue, confirmation of menus and any other special instructions. Any major differences between this advice and the accepted quotation should not negatively affect the price accepted at quotation.

 You are responsible for informing Gourmet Gorillas of any special dietary requirements, a full allergen list is available. It should be noted that individual guests should advise the servers at time of service of specific allergies.

Gourmet Gorillas reserve the right to cancel a booking at their absolute discretion, if circumstances are beyond their control, at any time, a full refund of any money paid by The Buyer will be made.

ACCESS

On the day of the event, Gourmet Gorillas may require access to the site up to eight hours prior to the service time, the requirement for this will be confirmed once final payment has been made.

If there are any obstacles to access, these should be explained at time of booking, i.e: narrow entrance/exits, steps, sharp inclines etc. If these are not explained it may affect the delivery of your service and it may not be possible to cook and serve your order. You may ask Gourmet Gorillas at the time of booking to confirm access if you have any concerns. In these circumstances your deposit is non refundable and if you have paid in full only 50% of the payment will be refunded. We will always do our best to accommodate you.

We will require a minimum opening/gap of 33 inches e.g. back gate / doorway. This is the width of the oven and not go through if less. Please note the roasting oven will weigh in excess of 100kg and will not go up steps or high inclines. The machine and equipment will not be transported though the building due to health and safety concerns

SAFETY

The buyer and the event guests must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety and behaviour of their families and friends. The hog roast unit and BBQ has open flame and a very hot surface; adults,  children and pets must be aware of keeping a safe distance at all times.

The Owners shall not be under any liability to the Buyers or third parties for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense, or inconvenience, which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the hog roast or BBQ service. No terms of this contract is enforceable under the contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to the contract. The use of the service is entirely at The Buyers risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to The Buyer, Family or Guests.

Gourmet Gorillas cannot be held responsible for any food or drink supplied by the client or facilities of the client. Food or drinks that are not supplied by Gourmet Gorillas should not be placed on their serving tables because of the risk of unknown allergens.

A copy of Gourmet Gorillas Public Liability insurance is available on request

CLEANING

Gourmet Gorillas will not accept responsibility for the cleaning of the venue. Whilst we will endeavour to ensure that the cooking and food preparation area allocated to us is as clear as possible from food waste, we will not sweep, mop or hoover the venue at the end of your event. It is the client’s responsibility to dispose of food, cutlery, plates, serviettes etc. used by their guests.

PRICES

There are minimum order quantities applicable and these will be explained at time of quotation – details are on our website.

Gourmet Gorillas may make a one off fixed charge for the transport and delivery involved in co-ordinating the event, this will be dependent on location.

Additional costs may be incurred if you require a separate visit to the site to assess access or facilities available, dependent on location.

The Quotation provided is valid for 6 months.

If you book an event that is more than 6 months after the initial quotation, it may be necessary to adjust the quote given in line with inflation. If this is the case, you will be advised at least 2 months prior to your event

PAYMENT METHOD

Cheque, BACS transfers, Credit / Debit card or cash

Gourmet Gorillas has the right to refuse service to any person or persons, who are acting inappropriately to any staff or customer or within the cooking area provided.

Gourmet Gorillas cannot be held responsible for any adverse weather conditions resulting in non-fulfilment of a contract

Gourmet Gorillas will advise if water, electricity or other facilities are necessary but will not accept responsibility if these facilities are then unavailable.

Gourmet Gorillas does not accept liability for the failure of service due to accidents, fire, flood, obstructions or any “act of god”beyond the control of the company.

Gourmet Gorillas cannot guarantee that any food or equipment has not been in contact any which may contain food allergens .

Should a client with to postpone an event, this will be determined by the availability of Gourmet Gorillas, there may be extra charges incurred.

Payments of any monies are acceptance of all terms and conditions.

 

Data Protection

 Gourmet Gorillas will use your data to arrange and deliver catering for your event. It will not be passed on to third parties.
