The food was incredible, portion sizes generous and service amazing. All our wedding guests were commenting on it which is just want we hoped for. Would highly recommend!

We hired gourmet gorillas for our wedding reception and we couldn’t have wished for a better meal. The burgers were amazing, and many guests who ate the vegan burger said this was the best vegan burger they have ever eaten. The staff were friendly, punctual and organised. Thank you :)

Absolutely sensational!

Customer service provided by Karen was exceptional from the get go. She provided fast response and gave honest opinions which helped to shape our wedding day. I loved that her advice wasn't to make financial gain but to maintain the best possible outcomes for what we wanted as a couple.

On the wedding day, Karen arrive early to guarantee that she was set up and ready to provide for us. Her set up was professional and her team were exceptionally organised.

Again, Karen greeted us with a smile throughout and made us all feel very much at ease.

The food provided was outstanding. Portions large and the variation allowed for everyone to feel nicely filled up.
We had burgers which were cooked to perfection. Sausage with wonderful flavour. Lamb Kofta which went down a treat with our guests. Potato salad which was one of the bride's favourites and pasta salad which the children enjoyed.
The biggest hit though was the chicken tikka. Large skewers with multiple pieces of large chicken tikka. The flavour was exquisite and stole the show with our guests.
For Dessert, our guests enjoyed profiteroles and Eton mess which was of fantastic quality.

Throughout the day, multiple guests complimented the food. The quality, the portion size, the variety and the friendliness of the staff.

Food is so important at a wedding and we could not have been anymore happier with Gourmet Gorilla.

It feels scary booking someone to cater for your whole wedding without being able to taste their food and see portion sizes before hand but you will not be disappointed AT ALL!!
Great communication from Karen from the moment we inquired, all the way through to the day.
The BBQ food and pizzas we booked, all tasted incredible, and no one went hungry! We’ve had lots of good comments since our wedding about how good the food was and how much was on offer.
I would definitely book again for any big parties/celebrations. Highly highly recommend!

Hired Gourmet Gorrilas for my husbands surprise 40th birthday and they were a hit!! Everyone loved the burgers and loaded fried. A really seamless and smooth process from booking to set up and clean up. 100% recommend !

Gourmet Gorillas catered our company BBQ and were fantastic. The food was on time, delicious and there was plenty to go around. Will definately be looking to have them back. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Karen and the team were brilliant! So friendly and helpful, they truly went above and beyond for us on our wedding day! They served a 4 piece BBQ for 90, including their ice cream truck, and bacon sandwiches later in the evening. Everything was delicious my guests were very happy and many made a point of telling me how good the food was! The service was efficient and on time and all were so friendly! I definitely recommend them and will be calling them again if I ever need catering.

This was our 3rd or 4th event with Gourmet Gorillas, we just keep going back for more. The food is excellent (especially the steaks) and the staff are always friendly. Thank you again for ANOTHER GREAT EVENT! - We will be back for more.....

Fantastic food, great service, could not fault the whole experience from first booking to the final clear up. All our guests commented on how great the hog roast was with many going back for seconds and thirds! If you are looking for great food and friendly people then look no further.

The Best food and service ever!!! We had our site summer BBQ at Handicare. Can prise this company enough, so delicious food, juicy burgers, chips to die for and ribs....from another world. Loved it! Do not even hesitate to have them for your party. Usually very reserved with comments - Saiva

Corporate event - Tues 8 July 2025
A big thank you to Gourmet Gorillas for a splendid BBQ feast at our outdoor corporate event in Edgbaston. They arrived on time and set up fast. All guests and hosts commented on the delicious food. We would have no hesitation in using their catering services again.

Simply amazing! We used Gourmet Gorillas recently for a wake. We can honestly say the whole experience was first class. The food was excellent quality and cooked to perfection, the whole set up was brilliant and the overall service from original enquiry to final set up was impeccable. Five stars is not enough!

Karen and Ian were friendly, helpful and professional throughout the whole process. The food was amazing, plenty of it, and lovely serving staff. We received lots of compliments about the food. We really just turned up at the venue to enjoy, which was wonderful.
They took the trouble to visit the venue beforehand to make sure everything was in place. They communicated with us throughout making sure we were getting everything we wanted.

I would highly recommend Gormet Gorrillas!

Karen, Ian and their team served canapés & drinks, cooked paella and brought their ice-cream cart to give me a perfect garden party to celebrate my 60th birthday this month.
Karen was so helpful with the planning & on the day they were organised, professional & lovely and their food was just delicious!

Karen and Ian catered for our 30th wedding anniversary and we were so impressed with everything, from the communication from Karen to their professionalism, setting everything up and then clearing away afterwards.
